Olivia & Mack
“It was clear from a couple of special messages he wrote us that he really got to know us through the process - he is very in tune with the people he photographs”

Why can’t it be beautiful 𝘢𝘯𝘥 real?
The goal isn’t spectacle, it’s substance. Capturing some essential essence of a person, a relationship, a room of relationships.
Creating a space where people feel comfortable enough to be themselves, noticing what that looks like, and then doing whatever the hell you can to try to preserve it in a slice of time somewhere between a half and one two thousandth of a second.
Creating images that, yes, look beautiful.
But most of all that tells you something deep and true about the people in them. That feel like them, and not just like a wedding photograph.
Because the fact it’s a wedding day is almost secondary. It’s just the stage where all the interweaving tapestries and stories and relationships and love in your life is brought to the the fore.
Liv and Mack and their day featuring storms and singalongs and a huge cast of supporting characters, some loud and brash, some pensive, some nurturing - all of which you just try to notice and hope to do justice.
